Time to reassess.

So the ketogenic diet was a bust. I consulted my husband who was going to be forced to deal with the sugar-free monster that I was due to become. He did a little research into Atkins-style diets and the major consensus is that they’re not too healthy. I still plan to limit my carbs during the day, you know, by eating protein for breakfast and veggies for lunch and I’ll eat a sensible dinner at home.

This whole lithium and hypothyroidism thing just doesn’t make weight loss very easy. I just can’t wait for the temps to come down a bit and maybe walking won’t seem so overwhelming in this heat and humidity.
